NOTE: Only the author of a specific rubric within Turnitin is able to access the rubric to use. Therefore, if you have a rubric that other instructors need, you will need to download the rubric and send to anyone needing to use it. These instructions will walk you through how to download the rubric. Another set of instructions will explain how to upload a rubric.
Step 1: Select the Turnitin Link in the module just like you would to grade the assignment, and you will select settings (Gear icon) on the far right of the dashboard page.
Step 2: Go to Optional Settings just like you would to add the rubric (Make sure "Attach a rubric is checked), select the Launch Rubric Manager button.
Step 3: Once the Rubric Manager opens, select the icon in the top left that looks like a bulleted list which will bring down a drop-down menu and a list of rubrics. You will locate the rubric that you want to download. NOTE: If it is one you created, then it will be under Rubrics and Forms.
Step 4: You will select the title of the rubric from the menu which will open it in the manager. You will then select the button in the top right that looks like a Share button and choose Export. NOTE: The file will download as an .rbc file which will most likely not be able to be opened on your computer. You should still be able to send the file though, and it will upload into Turnitin.
Step 5: If you are sending the file to someone, you should be able to send the file as an attachment through email.
