  1. Click the Chrome menu (three vertical circles) in the top right hand corner of the browser toolbar

  2. Select History and then select History again.

  3. On the left side of the next screen, select Clear Browsing Data

  4. Check the boxes for the types of information you want to delete, such as Cookies and other site and plug-in data or Cached images and files

  5. Finally, click Clear data at the bottom of the window and you are done!

For Firefox:

  • Click the Firefox menu (the button with 3 horizontal lines in the upper right corner) and choose History.

  • In the History area, click the clear recent history link.

  1. In the Clear Recent History window that appears, set the Time range to clear: to Everything.

  2. In the list at the bottom of the window, uncheck everything except for Cache.

Note: If you wish to clear other kinds of stored data, feel free to check the appropriate boxes. They will be cleared with the cache in the next step.

Tip: Don't see anything to check? Click the button next to Details.

  3. Click on the Clear Now button.

  4. When the Clear Recent History window disappears, all of the files saved (cached) from your Internet browsing activities in Firefox will have been removed.

Note: If your Internet cache is large, Firefox may hang while it finishes removing the files. Just be patient - it will eventually finish the job.

For Safari:

  1. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose History > Clear History, then click the pop-up menu.

  2. Choose how far back you want your browsing history cleared.
