How to View Associated Rubrics

How to View Associated Rubrics

For guidance on viewing a rubric associated with a Discussion Board, follow the steps below:

Discussions can be graded in two ways: by Forum or by Threads. Depending on which method is being used for grading, the way to access the Rubric is slightly different.

By Forum:

Inside your Discussion Forum page, you will see a button at the top called "Grading Information." This is only here if the discussions are graded via Forums. Click on the "Grading Information" button to bring up a new window.

After you click "Grading Information," a new window should appear that looks similar to the one below. It should display all the posts you have written in that Forum. There is a blue box to the right that will display your grade once the instructor has graded it. The white box in the middle of the blue box is the Rubric button. Click it.

You should now see the Rubric for that Discussion Forum.

By Thread:

Inside your Discussion Thread page (After clicking the forum title on the Forum page), you will see a button at the top called "Grading Information." This is only here if the discussions are graded via Forums. Click on the "Grading Information" button to bring up a new window.

After you click "Grading Information," a new window should appear that looks similar to the one below. It should display all the posts you have written in that Thread. There is a blue box to the right that will display your grade once the instructor has graded it. The white box in the middle of the blue box is the Rubric button. Click it.

You should now see the Rubric for that Discussion Forum.
