Moving a Panopto Video to a New Folder
These instructions are for if you realize that you need to move a Panopto video to a different folder in your course.
Step 1: Locate your video in the Panopto/Course Videos sidebar link of the course. You can search for the title of it if needed.
Step 2: To move your video, you will want to open your video directly in Panopto. To do this, select the square with the arrow that is on the right by the Subscribe button.
Step 3: Once you have opened the folder in Panopto, you will select the video that you want to move by selecting the box in the upper left corner of the video. Then, at the top you will see an option to “Move”. Select this button.
Step 4: A new Menu will open asking you to choose a folder to move the video. You will select this drop-down menu and look under My Courses by selecting the triangle to the left which will show you a list of all your courses. Locate the folder with your course’s name. If you have another triangle to the left, click on it to see the subfolders for your course. You will follow this until you locate the folder you are looking for. NOTE: The image is just an example. Your courses may have different subfolders or labels.
Step 5: To select the folder, simply click on the folder title. This will open the Red Move button at the top right of the screen for you to select. After you select Move, you will see a little green check mark out to the left of the video title. This confirms that your video was moved, and you can close the window and check back in Blackboard to see that it was moved to the right location.
