Required Plug-Ins & Troubleshooting Them

Different plug-ins are needed in order for features of Blackboard and your online course materials to work properly. Follow the steps below to ensure your plug-ins are up-to-date.

 

Installing Adobe Flash Player:

1. Click to go to Adobe Flash Player's website and download the latest version of Flash.

2. Click where it says to Install Adobe Flash Player and follow the instructions as they appear. 

 

Installing Adobe Reader:

1. Click to go to Adobe Reader's website and download the latest version of Reader.

2. Click where it says to Install Adobe Reader and follow the instructions as they appear. 

 

Installing Java:

1. Click to go to Java.com and download the latest version of Java.

2. Click on the "Free Java Download" button and follow the instructions as they appear.

3. Once installed, you may configure Java by following the Instructions for update settings.
